PATRIOTIC WORK.
The Mayoress has received, through Mr. A. B. Gibson, a donation of £2 10s Id from St. Paul's (Okato) offertory, per Rev. Charles Addenbrooke, to be used for Y.M.C.A. work at the front. In answer to the appeal of H Company .or pifts of games, etc., the New Fly« mouth Red Cross Society lms donated £5 for hospital transport comforts. The Mayoress (Mrs. Burgess) makes the fallowing appeal:—Will our country friends help to make Saturday, May 19 (Roumanian 'Day) a great day at the Mart.
