At the quarterly meeting of the Public Service Superannuation Board, annual allowances totalling .£4287 were granted to 23 contributors retired under section 30. Sis, who retired as medically unfit, were grante'd allowances aggregating £389. Sixteen widows and 14 children were granted: statutory allowances totalling £522. A policeman, '\viho retired medically unfit as the result) of injuries received in the execution of his duty, was granted an additional allowance. In consequence of retirements under section 35, accrued compensation amounting to £10,370 became a liability of the superannuation fund. The amount at the Credit of the fund on April 30 was £U5'0,226, an increase of £ 120,832 on the year.
