We forced back the French at Bovelle ridge, near Cerny, after bitter hand-to-hand fighting. We our improved lines against the attack. We repulsed attacks against the hills eastward of Berry au Bac. We brought down fifteen eneny aeroplanes. We repulsed renewed attacks on the Cerna salient. EFEBOT OF PAPER SHORTAGE. [Amsterdam, May 11. Thiei whole of the Berlin press has bent a telegram to Herr von BethmannHotiweg that, owing to the shortage of pap«r and coal, it may ibe impossible to pobt&h newspapers from the beginning ofnext week.
