LONDON MARKETS. Australian-N.Z. Cable Association. London, May 9. Rabbit skins—3os bundles were offered and 683 sold. Prime were unwanted, but many of them were withdrawn. Other grades mostly advanced from 3d to 4d. Light stuif 'fld to Bd. Tallow—42li casks were offered and 110 sold. Mutton, fins 09/9, medium 595; beef, fine 60s 3d, medium 5Ss. London, May 10.
Wheat—The market is quiet and unchanged. The Minister of Munitions has had an order gazetted fixing tho maximum prices of seed oils and fats ex-ship, mill and warehouse. They include copra 46a, linseed oil, raw 58s, boiled 01s, refined 635, imported tallow CSs. Received May 11, 5.5 p.m. Loudon, May 10. Wheat—Unchanged; flour firm, but little offering. Oats—ln small supply. New Zealand Carton's quoted nominally at 67s to 68s. Bea;is —Quiet. Peas—Firm, but in small supplies. New Zealand maples in good demand at lias to 120s. Received May 11, 6 50 p.m. London, May 10. Wool.—Bradford report; that owing to the Government taking control there is no market, except for a few transactions. Butter.—The market is quiet but firm. Danish about 20Ss; Australian in small supply and unchanged, salted occasionally 1965; New Zealand choicest 206s to 208s. The last arrived Australian is being discharged at Southampton, from where it is being distributed to London and the provinces, but the delivery is somewhat slow. Sugar.—Unchanged. Copper.—Spot £l3O ss; three months, £129 15s; electrolytic £l4O. Tin—Spot £24o'7s 6d; three months £240 12s Gd,,the rise being due to the abnormal demand and shortage of Ma. layan supplies. , Lead.—Spot £3O 10s, tlirea months £29 10s. Spelter—Spot £54, three "months £SO. Silver.—Standard 3,7 7-8 d per oz.
PRICE OF COPRA. London, May 10. The Ministry of Munitions has fixed {he maximum price of copra at £4O per ton in the warehouse. AUSTRALIAN CEREAL MARKETS. Sydney, May 10. Oats—2s Od to 2s lid: THE N.S.W. LOAN. t London, May 9. The New South Wales loan closes on the 14th. The prospectus emphasises that the stock debentures are domiciled in London and not subject to income tax or death duties in New South Wales. Subscriptions will be payable in instalments of five per cent, on application, thirteen per cent, on May 21, and thirty per cent on June 13, payment in full to be permitted on May 21 at a discount of five per cent. Several newspapers criticise the Treasury for allowing the issue instead of itself lending the money, thus avoiding the appearance of competition, but expect the loan will be readily subscribed. The Westminster Gazette states the terms are decidedly tempting. ADDINGTON.

At Westfleld fat stock market on Wednesday prime ox brought to £2 9s per 1001b, others '£2 Bs to '£2 8s Bd, rough £1 18s to £2 4s, cow and heifer beef £2 2s to £2 fls; steers sold at from £12.10s to £l9 17s Bd, no heavyweights yarded; cows and heifers sold at from £9 to £US. Calves were penned in large numbers and sold at late rates.
