We repulsed British advances at Roues and Bullecourt, and repulsed the French after a hand-to-hand struggle between Vvinterburg and Corbeny, on the Berry au Bac road. We repulsed the Ruisians northward of Kirlibaba and southward of the Valeputnia road. The : enemy attacked at numerous points between Lake Prespa and Lake Doiran. The repeated assaults were heavily repulsed. There was the bitterest fighting in the Cerna salient.

Herr Ledebour suggested that, instead of melting church bells for war purposes, they should requisition the statues of the German Emperors in the Reichstag building.
