DOMINION NEWS.

MATTERS CONCERNING RETURNED SOLDIERS. Wellington, May 9. The Hon. A. L. Hurdman said, in the course of an interview: "I agree that, if practicable, there should be one Minister only controlling the administering' of matters relating to returned soldiers. Such an arrangement will, I imagine, be made when the war is over and the Minister of Defence is relieved of the work of recruiting, training and despatching soldiers. I am sure that the proposal of the Returned Soldiers' Association is sound."
