Before Mr. Fraser, S.M., 42 miners, from Huntly, Pukemiro anil Glemnassey, were charged, under the War Regulations, with participating in a seditious strike. pleaded guilty and nine not guilty, were present. Mr. Singer', their solicitor, suggested that, in view 6i tlie manner in which the leaders of the strike liad been dealt with and the fact that all had returned to full work, the men should he convicted and ordered to come up for sentence when called upon. Mr. Meredith, for the Crown, offered .no objection. Mr. Fraser agreed to this as a perfectly permissible and proper course. The cases of those pleading not guilty were adjourned sine die.
