A quiet wedding was celjbrated at St. Slary's Church, Hawera, early on Monday morning, when Mamie, the third daughter of Mr. E. Snowball, wa» married to Herbert John Dodaon, ofPalmer■ston North, and formerly of- New Plymouth and Nelson. The bride was given away by her father, and woro a cream gabardine coat dress, with a white sailor hat underlined with black, and was attended by Miss Marjoriei Snowball, as bridesmaid, who wag attired in a gpSfi costume, with black hat and blMfc lint fWs to match. Hr. Eliot Snowball act*d as best man. A few relative* of tb» 'bride were entertained by Mrs. Bow {Chisholm, prior to Mr. and Mrs. leaving by the mail train for Matterton.
