CHICKENPOX AT HURWORTH. Sir,—ln reply to a resident of Hurworth re eltjckenpox, I own that as far as I know n!y child was the first in the district to have chickenpox—lll a very slight form, and sho did not go to school until the schoolmaster had seen her and told me when to send her. I would not have bothered about this reply, but 1 really do not think that a Hurworth resident did put the letter in th& paper, cut it out, and post it to me. I have lived in Hurworth for many years, and do not know one person who would stoop to anything so trifling. It's a pity they could not come along and do some sewing for the Red Cross or Belgians to keep, them out of mischief. I am, etc,, . . OTCWX.Y GILBKRT.
