NORTH TARANAKI HUNT.
To-morrow (Thursday)' tho North Taranaki Hunt .will open the season with a hunt at vice-president 0. Clifford's ideal country, "Rarelanda." Leppcrton Junction. Mr. Clifford and his neighbors have ta'ken the matter up very enthusi-astically-and have prepared the country for miles round, aiti those following should have a spleniliil day, however green their horses may ! be. Those who are not so fortunate as to possess liuntorsv, and have to content themselves with looking on, may be sure of a hearty welcome from Mr. and Mrs. Clifford, whose hospitality is unbounded. The huntsman, Mr. E. J. Rook, has the houn.ds in line fettle, and with "b\mny" in a kindly mood, should give huntsmen more than enough for their first day. Throw-off will be at 1 p.m. sharp, when a good gathering should be present to take part.
