LATEST DEVELOPMENTS. jGXTRAORDINARY condition 1 of AFFAIRS. PRO-GERMANS DOMINATE THE COURT. SECRET STORKS OF AMMUNITION. Received May 1, 11.55 p.m. 'London, May 1, Messages from Athens report an extraordinary condition of affairs. Probably M Znimis will accept the Premiership at the King's urgent request, in the hope of appetising the Allies. It is stated that 'M. Zaimis proposed to offer portfolios to Venizelists. There are rumors that li« telegraphed to \I. Vcnizelon, who replied Unit it was impossible for King Constantino to remain in his position. Tt is well known in Entente circles that Constantino is surrounded by a pro-German coterie, and that, it has been suggested he should exile MM Dousmanis, Skouloudis, and other plotters, but it is considered doubtful if the pro-German influence would thereby he eliminated, as it is almost certain that others would take their places around the King The pnlace is a regular rendezvous for German officers. General Falkenliayeu visits there constantly, secretly traversing the neutral zone, while other German officers brihg money from Germany for the reservists, who recently received two thousand sterling. Secret stores of ammunition continueto be found, and other stores are known to exist. M. Dousmariis, who is still the proGenr.au arch-conspirator, said recently. "Don't abandon hope. We ate still in the saddle. England has not decided definitely against us yet." <
