EVERYBODY'S.

A GRIPPING WAR FILM. | THE TSYE OF THE JJIGHT.. The gripping terror tliat comes with 'the night air-raids, the gale Unit sweeps the giant waves against the coast, and the big-hearted attitude oi the old light ■ house-keeper, as against thn narrowmindedness of the village folk, form a background against which "The Eye of the Night," to be shown for the first time at the matinee to-day, has been planned. William H. Thompson, who was last seen as the dour old Scotch uncle iri "Peggy," is the grizzled keeper of the Eastern "Light on the English coast.. Margery Wilson plays the girl who Ssi persecuted because slio loved not wisely but too well. Erom the Tiiee studios, it is the first picture dealing with the German air-raids on the English coast. Into it the jiroducw has put some great realism. The small village, storm twepl and battle scarred, and through it 4 streets the crowd of terror-rtrieken people; the vividness of the storm on tlx: coast, the huge hospital transport battling with the> rough seas, and the culminating destruction of the lighthouse by a bomb dropped from above, give an impressive idea of the work of these raiders. The same programme will be screeaed on Monday for thel ast time.
