THE BUDGET STATEMENT. GOOD FINANCIAL POSITION. Ottawa, April SS. The Budget speech disclosed that the Canadian revenue .'or the year ended March last was 330 million dollars, compared with 170 million dollare in the previojis year, and, after meeting, all capital expenditure, interest and pension charges, she was able to pay 60 million dollars off the principal of the wr expenditure. During the war Canada has floated.loans aggregating 360 million dollars, besides furnishing 100 million dollars to the Imperial Treasury to meet commitments for munitions and supplies in Canada.
