EVERYBODY'S.

A BRILLIANT TWO-STAR PBOGRAMME. One of the most brilliant and fascinating films ever screened at this popular playhouse, was presented for the first time last, evening to a full house. The first feature is from Triangle Studios, starring Louise Glaum in a striking war drama, "Somewhere in France." The play was ■written by the American war correspondent, Kich'ard Harding Davis, as an appeal to his countrymen to assist the oppressed Belgians against the machinations of the German Secret Service. Louise Glaum is cast in the part of "The Vampire Spy," and uses her sensuous charms to advantage when after French military secrets. ' The second feature is from, the World Film Studio, and introduces beautiful Kitty Gordon as the adventuress in the. sensational photo story, "As in a Looking Glass.'' The picture takes the form of a melodrama full of action, and the lovely Kitty, as Lila Despard, the adventuress, looks and acts the part to perfection. The dresses are wonderful, there being an ornate gown for every hundred feet of film, and the number of sets oE furs is bewildering. The play is a strong one, dealing with society lives of to-day and bristling with dramatic surprises. The programme will be shown for the last time to-night. BETTY NANSEN IN "A WOMAN'S TEMPTATION." To-inbrrow night, at Everybody's, the third great Fox feature, "A Woman's Temptation," starring Betty Nansen, will be screened. This film shows Miss Nansen in a more powerful characterisation than either her previous great successes, "The Celebrated Scandal" and "Slander." The picture is adapted from Count Leo Tolstoi's book, "Anna Karenina," and affords Miss Nansen a great opportunity to display to the full her remarkable dramatic gifts. Of the part Miss Nansen says:—"Anna is one of thoso women who ai'e preordained to lead lives that prove and try them as in sacrificial fires. She has been misjudged in much of the controversial storm that has raged about Tolstoi's book. Being Anna Karenina, she could not have done other than what she actually did. Had she trodden the straight and narrow path prescribed by convention, she would not have, been Anna." The picture will be screened Thursday and Friday only. * Seats may be reserved at Colliers,
