BAVARIANS SUFFER SEVERELY. . London, April 10. Sir Douglas Ilaig reports:—We caphired Villeret village, south-eastward of tiargicourt, and progressed north-west-wards of Lens. Our booty captured at f.ievin and the Souchez river is very great. The enemy's attack at Monehy-ie-f'reux on .Saturday was most, determined. The. 3rd Bavarian Division, which fought at Loos in 1915 and the High Wood in 101 fi, was ordered to retake the village at all cost. It suffered very heavy losses.
