Subject to necessary alterations, mail* will close at the Chief Post Office, New j Plymouth, as under: I For Auckland and North, per steamer, Tuesday and Thursday, at 7 p.m. For Napier and Gieborno daily at 6.15 a.m. and 12.20 p.m. | For Opunake and intermediate offices per motor bus daily at G. 15 a.m. For Wellington and South, daily, at 6.15 a.m. and 12.20 p.m. For Wanganui and intermediate offices, daily, at G. 15 a.m., 12.20 and 3.55 p.m. Mails for United Kingdom, America, and all oversea countries, including Australia, will be dispatched from time to time by the best route without special notification, C.
