Delegates declared that the scheme had responsible for more curses, tears, furrow and hardship than anything ever previously heard of. AUSTRALIAN BUTTER. POOL. Melbourne, April 14. The Federal authorities have initiated a buller pool, to ensure adequate supplier for local requirements during the winter, by which the States contribute tO,OOO boxes. A committee controls the output of the factories, which continue to sell 80 per cent, to agents at local sales in the ordinary way. The balance of 20 per cent, must be consigned to cold storage under export conditions. THE. AUSTRALIAN LOAN. Melbourne, April 14. The .Commonwealth loan which, is being floated in London is to cover a balance of £7,500,000 borrowed by the Federal Government .on behalf of the States.
