TIRES AT LENS. Received April 15, 5.25 p.m. London, April lit. There are indications of the German retreat extending. Fires have been observed at Lens. A CHAIN MAIL CURTAIN. TO PROTECT SOLDIERS' FACES. deceived April I#, 8 p.m. London, April 14. A newspaper states that a curtain chain mail has been invented to hang from the steel helmet to protect soldiers' faces. Some have already been issued to the'troops.
