MILITARY CAMP SICKNESS.
SATISFACTORY DECREASE.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. 1 Wellington, Last Night. . The amount of sickness ia military!' camps at the present time is less than a fliiartcr of the amount recorded tor the corresponding period of last year. The position is regarded by the medical authorities as very satisfactory. There are no cases of measles in hospitals, and colds and influenza are not prevalent. Air epidemic of gastro enteritis was expert* cneed at Featherston this time last year, but has not recurred. It is considered that sickness is likely to increase with the appr-oach of wintar, but the indications are that the position will be better than in other war winters. Tho mobilisation of the 28th Beinf orcements is now proceeding, and shoal| be completed on Monday next. The quott from Wellington City and suburbs, 2(f) strong, went in this morning.
