COMMONWEALTH LOAN. ISSUED IN LONDON. Received April 12, 5.5 p.m. London, April 11. The Commonwealth three and a-half million loan at 5Ys per cent, interest, issued at 98, and redeemable 1922-27> has been underwritten. Beceived April 12, 5.5 p.m. London, April 11. The Australian Commonwealth loan prospectus wi'l be issued on Friday. The final instalment of 50 per cent, is payable on .June 19. and the interest payable December 1. It is estimated that the loan yields the investor 115s per cent., as compared with the present yield of the British War Loan of 114s fid per cent. The advanced jssue price compared with the South Australian loan is due largely to the lower bank rate and America's entry into the war. A MOMENTOUS QUESTION. ' Beceived April 13, 1 a.m. .
