YOUXG WOMAN'S TERRIBLE MISHAP. *li * - Christehureh, April 9. 'Afc Kgikoura, Amjr Alice Robinson (2o) was heating soma beeswax ami turpentine, wlieu the mixture caught aliglit, the flames igniting lier clothing, and she was badly burned. After she had extinguished the flame-, by rolling herself in a blanket she went some distance to a neighbor l'or assistance. The sufferer was eonveysd to the hospital where sht died shortly afterwards. Deceased was the daughter of Mr A. Royd, a, well-known resident o£ Kaikoura. .if' !■ ' 1 '4;,
