EVERYBODY'S.

ALICE BRADY IN 'TANGLED FATES.' Besides a thrilling story, beautiful scenes from snow-lanj are produced in tangled Fates," the star film of the new programme at Everybody's to-day end to-night. First as to the story. It is at bottom a love tele, and round the lovers the authoivflas\voven a net of adventure which carries one's thoughts to the wilds of Alaska, where all sorts of elsewhere impossible things are possible and actual. The woman in the story mades the error of marrying the wrong man. He goes to the goldflelds of Alaska, leads a worthless, evil life, shoots someone, and is given the rude justice which obtains there. In other words he ends his life by being lynched. Just as the lynching is* in progress his wife makes a dramat'c appearance on the scene. One of the first to single- her out is a certain other woman. A quarrel ensues, and the wife of the wastrel flees from the terribL scene. She m et.s the man she always loved, and who always loved her, and he removes her to more congenial surroundings. That is the skeleton of the story, but what nn ' amount of sadness and sorrow, of love and devotion, of excitement and sensation, is crowded into the picture! Also the scenic effects are beautiful. The snow .stretches of Alaska have been used to the utmost advantage by those who arranged the picture. There are -some supporting items on the programme, including a comedy, entitled "Jerry's j Masked Ball," and the Topical Gazette.
