BETTY NANSEN IN FOX FEATURE.
"THE CELEBRATED SCANDAL."
To-night, and to-morrow night Miss Betty Nanscn, the dstinguislied -Fox artiste, who made her debut to local picture patrons last week in the drama "Should a Mother Tell?" will again be seen at this theatre in another Fox feature entitled "The Celebrated Scandal." As an actress of emotional force the famous Ibsen actress is without rival in photoplays. Her impersonation of the injured wife in "The Celebrated Scandal," is a tour do force in intense feeling. Never once" is there a.suggestion of over-acting; indeed, her quiet repose in her scenes is a study in how to get the desired effects by sheer art and mentality. "The Celebrated Scandal" is the most; complete triumph from this standpoint that the Foy producers have yet submitted. Actors on the. legi-: timate stage will find the performance' a model. It sets a new standard. Tomorrow night there will be a bonelt. performance in aid of the Wounded Soldiers' Club, when this splendid feature will be screened for the second and last night.
