ENEMY ATTACKS REPULSED.
AVIATORS BOAED A SCHOONER. Admiralty per Wireless Pros. London, April 3. A Russian official message state*: We throw back at the bayonet point enemy attacks which penetrated our trenches in the regions southward of Illukst and south-east of- Vladimlr-Volynak. One of our while raiding Derkas was compelled to descend,, and the aviator fired a machine-gun at a Turkish schooner. The crew abandoned the schooner, which the aviators hoarded and sailed towards Russia. They encountered a heavy storm, but arrived at Djnrligatch Peninsula, from where they returned to Sevastopol by a torpedo boat.

RUSSIA NEEDS MORE TRAINED MEN
Received April 5, 1.15 a.m. London, April 4. The Daily Chronicle's Petrograd correspondent states that M. Gutehkoff (Minister for War) points out that the enemy is preparing a vigorous offensive on tile Russian front. He emphasises that tile active army needs fresh contingents, and instructs commanders and governors to comb out all except the in'dispone lilcb, and to train them rapidly for service at the front.
