IN BANKRUPTCY.
A meeting of creditors in the estate of E. A. Woolby, confectioner, etc., New Plymouth, was held at the office of the D.O.S. yesterday. The D.O.A. presided, and there were six creditors present. Bankrupt was represented by Mr. Quilliam. The total debts were returned as £375, unsecured debts £'274 7s 4d, secured £IOO 12s Bd. Assets were: Property at Marton £GSO, less mortgage £350, and stock in trade £75.
The unsecured ■creditors were:— Phoenix Co., Ltd., Dunedin, £'<l9 14s 7d; Aulsobrook and Co., Christchurch, £is 10s 2d; J. H. Cock and Co., New Plymouth, £lB 12s; Champion Co., Ltd., Wellington, £i 3s 7d; Pike and Waters, £7 17s lOd; C. 0. Stefi'enson, £8 3s 9d; Marble Bar, £5 15s 7d; Dingo Medicine Co., Auckland, £1 4s: New Zealand Express Co., £2 lfis Id; New Plymouth Gas Co., 9s; Daily News, 10s; Roy and Nicholson, 10s (id; Oiiey and Rollo, £1 18s 2d; ,1. Hale, £5 2s 3d; May and Arrowamith, £3 8s; Dr. Fookes, £3 15s; Mrs. T. White, Stratford, £105; Keig and Manners, £3 5s -total, £274 7s 4d.
It was decided to instruct the D.S.O. to realise the assets immediately and determine bankrupt's shop lease.
