A VIOLENT BATTLEbetween the moewe and OTAKI. Received March 30, 11 p.m. Copenhagen, March 30. Twenty-two neutral seamen have arrived from Germany from the Mocwe'R victims. .Many neutials were captured on armed British ships. The Mouvvc met on March 10 the armed British ship, the Otaki, outside Capetown. A violent battle ensued, six aboard the .Moewc being killed. The Otalti was sunk. A fire broke out on the Moewe and raged for three days. The }Joewe was hit seven times. The Otaki's captain, mate, engineer, and one or two sailors were killed. The Moewe's hold was full of prisqners, numbering nearly six hundred.
