The manager of the New Zealand Shipping Company has received a cablegram stating that the Kotorua liad landed all her passengers at Plymouth, and was proceeding up the Channel when she «as torpedoed. All were saved w'th the exception of one cook.
(The Rotorua, which, was a vessel of 11,500 tons, was carrying, amour other cargo, 11,000 boxes of butter from Ne„ Plymouth). •
DANGER ZONE EXTENDED. (Renter Service). Christiania, March 25.' Germany has notified Norway that the danger zone now includes the water? between the northern coast of Norway and Spitsbergen. Obviously this is aimed at the Archangel route. /■ .Washington, March 25. ihe Ambassador in Britain, Mr. IVo has cabled that apparently Germany ha* extended thS limits of the dangerous area to include'practically all Kuronean waters. Starting on April 1, the danger area will comprise all excepting Danish and Netherland territorial waters.
