WAITARA CLUB. The annual meeting of the Manakorihi Oolf Club (Waitara) on Friday was presided over by Mr. C. F. Dowsett, The balance-sheet showed that while the year had been started with a liability of £3O, the amount had been reduced to £:>. It was decided, as a club, not to play this season, owing to War conditions, but so as to define •membership a nominal subscription of 10s fld for men and Is for ladies will bo collected, «nd it is expected therefrom the club's deficiency will be paid off,. Those members will also obtain facilities whereby they may become country members oi the Ngamotti Club. An 'executive was set up to take steps to protect the club's property.—Mail.'
