AWAKINO DOG TRIALS.

The Awakino Colile Club's eleventh annual meeting on 2flth and 30th inst. promises to be a very successful event, this year, as 011 drawing for places^in' the various classes it was found that the entries numbered 150, a truly record number. Quite a number of entries are from well-known owners of successful dogs in the adjoining districts, and from Havera, as well as a very strong local entry. The proceeds of the meeting are to be devoted to the Ked Cross funds, which will doubtless help to make the meeting a success.
