ARRIVED. March 23.—Ttaramu, s.s. (0 a.m.)", 934 tons, from Greymouth. March 23.—Rarawa, s.s., 1072 tons, Bark, from Onehunga. THE KABAMU. The Karamu arrived from Greymouth early yesterday morning with 379 tons of coal for the Ironsand Smelting Company. The vessel is expected to finish discharging in time to sail for Onehunga at noon to-day.

THE KARAWA. The Rarawa arrived yesterday morning from Onehunga with 107 tons of general cargo. ~ THE KARjU. The Karu leaves Wellington on Monday, instead of to-day, as previously announced, and should arrive here on Wednesday. THE OORINNA. The Union Company advise that the Corinna left Wellington yesterday lor Nelson, and arrives here to-morrow. She will load dairy produce on Monday. CRUISER CONVERTED. • That a vessel, once a small German cruiser, will soon be engaged in a freight and pasonger service undei the management of a Japanese company, with headquarters at Osaka, is the report brought by the Pacific mail liner Ecuador, says an American exchange. The German " cruiser Planet was scuttled at an early stage of the war while being chased by the Japanese cruiser Satsuma near Yap Island. She has been refloated and converted into a merchantman at an Osaka shipyard.
