NATIVES FOR TRANSPORT WORK. London, March 22. The Capetown correspondent of the Daily Telegraph says that General Botha, in the Assembly, replying _ to criticism by the extreme Nationalists, agreed that it was not advisable to employ natives as combatants in Europe. They would be employed exclusively on the transport. He did not fear they would become a danger to the whites when they returned. General Botha added: "I shall continue to do my duty to the Empire regardless of cost, even if alone.
