.WEST END DEFEATS NEW PLYMOUTH A. The West Ena Club defeated New Plymouth A in the Gilmour Cup competition on the New Plymouth green on Saturday. As the outcome of this match New Plymouth A and West End are now level and will play off to decide the competition. FITZROY DEFEATS NEW PLY* MOUTH B. In the Gilmour Cup match at Fitzroy en Saturday, New Plymouth B went down by the narrow margin of four points, tnc total scores being, Fitzroy 42, New Plymouth .18, due to the excellent play of Smith, who proved far too good for A. K. Smart. Luscombe played a good, sound game and had no difficulty in defeating his opponent. Details of the scores are as follow, Fit/.roy being mentioned first:— Oxenham, Sole, Beadle, Higgs (skip) 16, v. Chaney, Perry, Ewing, Luscombe (skip) 21. Roberts, Hopkins, Brash, Smith (skip) 26, v.
