STBATPORD DEFEATS ELTHAM. Three rinks from Eltham visited Stratford yesterday to play a banner match. The visitors put up a plucky light, especially Carter's team, who made a strong effort against Sharpe's lour and for a long period held the lead. McKay's team failed to hold McMillan, whilst Morrison's team of veterans was too much for the Eltham skip (Ross). At seven heads the totals were Stratford 16, _ Eltham 15, and with twelve heads decided Stratford increased their figures to 55, whilst Eltham stood at 30.
