THE WEEK'S RECORD. THREE MISSING VESSELS TOWED IN. Received March 15, 10 p.m. -■ London, March 14. The Admiralty announces thi.t the arrivals for the 'week totalled KISS, the sailings 195!), and that, the number of vessels flunk of 1000 tuns and upwards was thirteen, wliile the number of those under 10(10 toils was four. Submarines had unsuccessfully attacked sixteen ships, but some iishing vessels had been sunk. Three merchantmen under 'IOOO tons reported last week as sunk have since been towed in. AMERICAN VESSEL SUNK. NOT AN OVERT ACT. • —■ Xew York, March 14. The Algonquin is reported from London to have been sunk by a submarine. She was transferred to the Amcriv.n registry in December from A. E. Mavkay & Co., and was carrying. 1,500,000 dollars worth of foodstuffs to England. Opinion in Washington is that her locs does not change the situation, since ail the crew were saved, --\ . RUSSIAN VESSELS BOMBED. London, Umh LI. A Cerman official report states that German seaplanes on March 12. bombed two Russian destroyers which approached Constanza, and forced them to return. Two hits were clearly observed on one destroyer, fore and aft.
