Onehunga, March 14.—Rarawa, at 8.45 a.m., from New Plymouth. Westport, March 14.—Karamu, at 7 a.m., from New Plymouth. NOTES. Owing to-heavy weather at Ni ( ,>r on Monday, the Tarawera had to l.;ave port at about 3 p.m., and was unable to finish working cargo. The steamer, Bellbird, while lying at the Helcnsville wharf on Sunday, caught fire and was considerably damaged amidships. No further particulars as to the origin of the fire or the extent of thp damage were obtainabie. The Bellbird is a vessel of somo 200 tons, and trades between Helensville and Dargaville. She is a fairly old but good sea boat, and is used principally fyr cargo-carrying, although she also does her share in carrying passengers between the ports.
