The retail prices are not fixed, but the food controller will take drastic action against anyone making excessive profits. Chicago wheat.—May offerings, 191 y 2 cents to IRT'/ocents; July options, llil cents to 158 1-? cents. Rabbits aro unchanged, and few are offering. South American mutton.—lll-Sd; lamb 12 5-8 d; Australian and New Zealand unchanged. Hemp.—Firm;"no New Zealand offering. Rubber.—Para 3/2Vg, plantation 3/2%; smoked 3/2 3-8. Copra .-j- January-March shipments £4l 13a. A PROFITABLE CONCERN. Received March 11, 11.15 p.m. London, March 11. Robert Campbell. and Sons' profit amounted to £90,438," the year's dividend being 13.5 per cent. The whole of the firm's assets in Xew Zealand have been realised, and the company proposes to liquidate voluntarily.
