ANNUAL CONFERENCE. • By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, March 8. At the Congregational Union's annual conference .to-day the Rev. W. M. Grant, the new chairman, was inducted, and he delivered his inaugural address tonight. A comprehensive report of the committee on'"'church work disclosed a satisfactory year's work. The following transfers were announced:—Rev. F. Warner (Melbourne) from Australian to New Zealand Union; Rev. Frank de Lisle, from South Australian to New Zealand Union. The Rev. F. Warner is at present stationed at Beresford street, Auckland, and the Rev. de Lisle at Gore.
