tARIE DORO IN "THE HEART OF NORA FLYNN"—TO-NIGHT.
A complete change of programme will be screened at the Empire this evening, the chief attraction being a superb Lasky drama, "The Heart of Nora Flynn." In this production Marie Doro portrays the part of a warm-hearted Irish girl, who would rather sacrifice •ed own reputation than the happiness of two innocent children, and siie puts -o much charm, so much understanding into her portrayal of the part that the illusion is complete, and one can almost believe that it is real. Intending patrons are requested to note that this programme will only be screened to.light and to-morrow.
FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. On Friday night the management will present one of the greatest comedy successes ever brought to the Dominion, namely, "Manhattan Madness," fcatur ; ing the irresistible Douglas Fairbanks •nd Jewel Carmen. The picture is based on a short story by O. Henry. The bitter speculated as to what a modern young man would do if a Russian lady •>f marvellous aspect should (1) rush up to him. (2) thrust a hot bun in his hand, (3) snipioll' one of his coat buttons, (4) whisper (5) dart down a side street casting glances over her ■boulder. Douglas Fairbanks, in the Mm, presents a brilliant solution.
