Public interest '■ lias not abated one bit by the retirement of Mr Eraser, who is holding th*' meetings on his itinerary, but is a|H .' pea ling for support for Sir John Findlay instead of for himself.' Mr Simson ' - advertises an invitation to the Hon./W. D. S. Mac Donald to attend his meeting to-morrow night to defend himself against the statement made by Mr Simson as regards the Ministers' methods .. at the liberal Convention. The Minister has replied to the chal-i lenge by making a statement in the advertising columns of the press. Sir John Findlay replied to' critics to . night in his second speech. At Hastings to-morrow night, whijfc • Mr Simson is addressing his constituents at tho Municipal Theatre, the Hon. W. 1). S. Mac Donald and W.
