War economy is actively practised in the training camp at Featherston. As the men of each new reinforcement draft enter the camp they are informed of orders requiring that nil the wire on hay or straw bales must be removed intact and return to cue suppy depot; that when tea is issued in lead-lined eases, the lend must be collected and returned and the cofi'e tins must be handed in when empty. Failure to comply with these orders results in the unit con eerned being charged with the value of the material deficient. A LOAD OFF YOUR HIND.
