A collision occurred in the bay tonight between the Arahura and a Home liner of the New Zealand Shipping Company's fleet. Apparently both vessels were under way, and were about to leave at 11 o'clock, when the mishap occurred. Details are lacking, but the Home liner sent a Morse message ashore that she had a hole in her bows, and the Arahura is standing in close to the river and lias signalled (or medical assistance. The Harbor Board's launch and the dredge Maui and the steamer Karoro are standing by, but until the launch gets hack no further details will be available. It is not known if the Jlonio boat is able to proceed to sea,.and the extent of the Arphura's damage, if any, bnonHnn
