MORE GERMAN TRICKS. PRETENDED COMPENSATION. Reuter Service. Received March 1, 7 p.m. Amsterdam, February 28. The German -Legation has informed the Dutch Government that Germany it willing to place German ships at HoL land's disposal during the war, as com pensation for the seven torpedoed ve» sels, on the understanding that -Holland negotiates for the eventual purchase of the ships after the war.
