LEAVE REVOKED. FARMER ADMITS MISLEADS BOARD. By Telegraph.—Press .Association. Palmerston N., Last Night. Vernon Elijah Hunt, a farmer reaid* i"g at Mangatainoka, was granted leava at Masterton on January 12 on the ground that be was supporting his parents. He appeared before the Military Board here to-day, when Captain Walker said the appellant had misled the Board, and that he should be made an example of.
Appellant said he had misled tb« Board and was very sorry for it. The chairman said that the Board had no jurisdiction in the matter and could not punish appellant, although the Board could merely rescind, the previous decision. ITe had no doubt Hunt would be suitably dealt with by the mib'tnry authorities. The previous decision was rescinded.
