NEW PLYMOUTH Subject to necessary alterations, mails will close at the Chief Post Office, New Plymouth, as under:— ■ For Auckland and North, Tuesday and Saturday, at 7 p.m. MONDAY, FEBRUARY 20. For Australian States at G. 15 a.m. WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 28. For Australian States at 12.20 p.m. SATURDAY, "MARCH 3. For Tonga, Samoa and Fiji, at C.15 а.m. For Wellington and South, daily, at б.15 a.m. and 12.20 p.m. For Wanganui and intermediate offices, daily, at 6.15 a.m., 12.20 and 3.55 p.m. For Auckland and North, per stearner, Tuesday and. Friday, at 7 p.m. Mails for United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, North. South and Central America, South Sea Islands, Fiji, Tonga, Samoa. Earotonca, Tahiti, Honolulu and all places beyond Australia will be despatched as opportunity offers by first available steamer. The public are requested to post llieir correspondence and not wait for notification of times anil dates of closing mails for places beyond Australia, which will not be siven. C. H.
