Field Marshal Sir Douglas llaig reports:—Our advance lias been maintained. It extends over an eleven-mile front eastward of Guedecourfc to the southward of Gommeeourt to a depth of two miles. We. occupy the Butte de Warlencourt, the villages of Warlencourt, Eaucourt, Pys and Mfraumont We have readied the outskirts of Le Barque, Irles and Puisscuxaumont. We repulsed, with loss, an attack on a British post southward of tho Somine. We successfully raided the neighborhood of Arras, Monchy.au-Bois and Lens.
