A CIVIC WELCOME. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night The annual conference of the Newspaper Proprietors' Association was opene<l to-night, the president, Mr. P. Solig, heing in the chair. ' I'he Mayor ('Mr. J. P. Luke) accorded a civic welcome to the members.
