New Zealand mutton per lb B%d, ewe mutton Argentine mutton, heavy-weight, 10£ d, lightweight, lOid; New Zealand and Australian lamb, lOd; Argentine lamb, heavy-weight, llid, light-weight, 12d; New Zealand bull beef, hinds 9d, fores 8d; Argentine chilled beef, hinds ll|d, fores IOJd. Butter—Unsettled market owing to the great uncertainty of arrivals. No official quotations with the exception of French, per cwt 212s to 2175; Australian, salted and nnsalted, 212s to 2175; Irish factory, 194s to 2025; New Zealand, salted and unsalted, '22 os to 228s and 220s to 2248; Argentine, 210s, unsalted 210s to 2125. Cheese—Market continues firm. Prices are higher owing to continued small supplies. Canadian, white and colored, per cwt, 160s to 104s; English Cheddar, 162s to 1655; States Flats, believe supply will be large.
