—V —- j CYCLONIC STORM AT AUCKLAND. I By Telegraph— Press Association. Auckland, Feb". 21. The threatened cyclonic, storm struck Auckland about nine o'clock last'iuglit. For twelve hours the wind blew with torrific force and torrential rains fell. The fall for 24 hours to u"a.mr-was 2.58 inches, making 10.05 inches for the month to date. Considerable damafe'was caused asEore and afloat, but in no case involving neavy ioss. Telegraph, telephone and railway lines were seriously interfered with, and the damage caused an interruption of the service both north and south.
