At the Rotorua tournament on Thursday A. K. Smart's rink had three losses, and was put out of the semi-fmals, its record being 0 wins, 4 losses, and a bye. A Tauranga team won the section. Hill's West End rink had three wins and a loss in' section A, thus equalling Smart's record.
