NATIONAL MORTGAGE AGENCY. Australian-N.Z. Cable Association. London, Feb. 10. The report of the National Mortgage Agency Company shows a profit of £54,596. A dividend of Is 6d per share and a bonus of 2s is declared, £SOOO carried to the reserve, and ,£245,000 carried forward. LONDON WOOL SALES, London, Feb. 18. At the wool sales every lot of scoured crossbreds and slipes was withdrawn under Government instructions. The remainder of the catalogue and speculators' wool released brought late rates. Bradford.—Merinos firm and unchanged, but the transactions are small and crossbreds are unquotable, there being no business owing to the Government acquiring the wool. On the 14th, at Kohuratahi yards, there was a fair entry of both sheep and cattle, all the cattle being sold, but only abou a third of the sheep, as vendors' ideas of value were much higher than current rates. Prices: Wethers, 2tooth, 28s to 34s 7d, ewes, fi-tooth to 5-year-old 19s fid, f.m. ewes 17s, 2-tooth to f.m. ewes 25s 3d, rams 2Gs. cull lambs 8s 6d, medium to good 14s 5d to 17s 2d, 2J-year-old buljicks £l2 10s, 20-month steers £9 ss, 18-month steers £7 lis to £7 15s.
